liturgy lab

This innovative program offers lay service leaders a welcoming space to develop new talents, refresh skills, and experiment with liturgical music and practices.  We have two flavors:

A practicum includes all the Shabbat prayers in the correct order - essentially a normal Shabbat service, with participants practicing the parts they want to improve or learn. There will be no Torah leyning or Haftarah unless someone specifically wants to work on those.

An intensive is a deep-dive focus on a specific portion of the liturgy. It will not include a full Shabbat service, so participants should come to these sessions already “davened up” to fulfill their obligation.
